Read this first. The Pitch Pizza Tracker is a satirical, experimental art/commentary project. The numbers it displays are inferences computed from indirect, publicly available signals — they are not measurements of, or factual claims about, any company’s actual business, staffing, finances, clients, new-business pitches, or any person’s activities. “Pitch activity,” “busy after dark,” and similar phrases are playful labels for a computed index, not assertions of fact.
1. What this is
The Pitch Pizza Tracker is operated by HoneyWired LLC, an Illinois limited liability company (“HoneyWired,” “we,” “us,” “our”). The Pitch Pizza Tracker is a deadpan, Pentagon-Pizza-style “activity monitor” that observes free, public, live data near a small set of Chicago advertising-agency buildings — for example, the publicly shown “popular times” of nearby restaurants, public bike-share counts, public weather, public job postings, and public industry news. It combines these into a tongue-in-cheek “pitch condition” index as a work of commentary, satire, and data art. It is not a market-research product, a business-intelligence service, or a source of factual reporting about any company.
2. No statements of fact; opinion and inference only
Every reading is an automated inference from third-party proxy data. Busy restaurants near a building do not mean a particular company is working late or pitching; a public job posting does not mean a pitch is underway; news headlines are summarized algorithmically and may be incomplete, mis-attributed, outdated, or wrong. The indices, labels, flags, and event-feed messages are opinion and conjecture, presented for entertainment and commentary, and must not be read as a factual statement that any company or person is or is not doing anything. We make no representation that any reading is accurate, complete, current, or meaningful.
3. No affiliation; trademarks and names
HoneyWired is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any of the companies, agencies, venues, brands, or building owners referenced on this site. Company and agency names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used here only nominatively — to identify the subject of commentary — under fair use. No claim of ownership or endorsement is made or implied. (HoneyWired’s own office is included among the monitored locations.)
4. No reliance; not professional advice
Nothing here is business, financial, investment, employment, legal, or other professional advice. Do not make any decision about any company, person, security, transaction, or course of action based on this site. Any reliance you place on it is strictly at your own risk.
5. Privacy, cookies, and analytics
The monitor itself uses only aggregate, non-personal, publicly available data. It does not track, identify, surveil, or target any individual, agency, account, pitch, or employee — it is a neighborhood-activity monitor, not surveillance of any person.
Visitor analytics (with your consent). With your consent, we use Google Analytics (a service provided by Google LLC) to measure traffic and understand how visitors use this site. When you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies and processes limited usage data — such as pages viewed, approximate (city-level) location, device and browser type, and the referring site. IP addresses are anonymized. No analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent unless you accept them in the consent banner. If you decline, only essential functionality is used and no analytics tracking occurs.
Your choices. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via . You may also install Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on and review how Google handles data in its Privacy Policy. Apart from consented analytics and ordinary, standard web-server logs kept by the hosting provider, we do not knowingly collect, sell, or share personal information about visitors.
6. Data sources and their terms
Readings are derived from third-party sources, each governed by its own terms of service and subject to change or interruption without notice. These include, among others: Google “Popular Times” data (accessed via the SerpApi service), Divvy bike-share GBFS feeds (Lyft/CDOT), Open-Meteo weather data, the City of Chicago / CTA, Google News, and public applicant-tracking job boards (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday, iCIMS). All trademarks and data belong to their respective owners. This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these providers, and their inclusion does not imply their endorsement. Where a source’s terms require attribution or restrict use, those terms govern.
7. Intellectual property and credit
The Pitch Pizza Tracker dashboard, its design, code, data-collection methodology, written copy, and the “Pitch Pizza Tracker” name and presentation are © 2026 HoneyWired LLC, all rights reserved. “Built by HoneyWired” credit and this notice must be retained. You may not copy, republish, scrape, resell, frame, or create derivative works from this site or its underlying feeds without HoneyWired’s prior written permission. Underlying third-party data remains the property of its respective sources.
Copyright / DMCA. If you are a copyright owner (or authorized agent) and believe content on this site infringes your rights, send a notice to DMCA@honeywired.com including: identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location (URL); your name and contact information; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act; and your physical or electronic signature. We will respond in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
8. Acceptable use
Use the site for lawful, personal, non-commercial viewing only. Do not use it to harass, defame, or target any person or company; do not scrape, overload, or attempt to disrupt it; do not present its output as factual or as HoneyWired’s statement of fact about any third party.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and all content are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Feeds may be delayed, degraded, missing, or wrong.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HoneyWired and its members, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) this site or reliance on its content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole remedy is to stop using the site.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HoneyWired from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the site or your breach of these Terms.
12. Corrections, takedown, and opt-out
We aim to use only real public data and to label inferences clearly. If you are a referenced party and believe something is inaccurate, misleading, or should be removed, contact us at DMCA@honeywired.com and we will review promptly and in good faith. We may correct, relabel, or remove any location or content at our discretion.
Opt-out (no questions asked). Any company, agency, building, or venue referenced on this site may request removal from the monitor for any reason or no reason at all. Email DMCA@honeywired.com from a verifiable company address (or otherwise identifying yourself as authorized to make the request), and we will remove that party’s location and associated readings — no justification required and no questions asked — within a reasonable time, which we target as five (5) business days. We honor opt-out requests as a matter of policy, not obligation.
13. Donations and charitable links
The Pitch Pizza Tracker links to a third-party charitable organization (currently World Central Kitchen). HoneyWired does not collect, process, hold, or transmit any donations. Any donation you choose to make is made directly to that organization on its own website and is solely between you and that organization. HoneyWired receives no funds, fees, commission, or other compensation in connection with any donation. We make no representation as to the tax-deductibility of any gift, how donated funds are used, or any outcome — those are the responsibility of the receiving organization; please consult the organization and your own tax advisor. HoneyWired is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or partnered with World Central Kitchen or any linked organization, and the link does not imply their endorsement of this site. “World Central Kitchen” and other organization names and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used here only nominatively to identify the organization. Outbound links lead to sites HoneyWired does not control and is not responsible for.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version here, with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
